Behind the sock drawer, strange things are afoot...
Ever wonder what happens to all the odd socks that get lost behind your sock drawer? They slip down a magical chute (every sock drawer has one!) and end up in the Sock World, a place where they can find a purpose as arms, legs, trunks and ears of the Sock Monsters. The Sock Monsters collect the strays and if anyone needs an extra bit, they always find a home for them. Of course, all of this happens when you are fast asleep, that’s when Fleecy, Toasty, Smidgen and Scrunch magically come to life!
The Sock Monsters are clumped together bunches of odd socks. Some have rolled into balls, others appear as tentacles and others slither around like long stripey snakes. With buttons for eyes and tassles for hair, no-one in Sock World is perfect, but everyone is unique. Fleecy the Sock Monster lives at number 3 Googlywoogly Villas in the town of Grotboglag. He creeps around on seven sock tentacles and has a (button) nose for fun! His best friend Toasty has long stripey arms and legs and is always on hand to give Fleecy a nice warming hug whenever he is having a bad day. Smidgen the ButterSock flutters around on cotton wings, her three button eyes always on the lookout for another Sock Monster to play with and Scrunch the Sock-Turtle tries to keep up with it all.
